HR Policy Association Supports Workflex in the 21st Century Act

HR Policy Association is a public policy advocacy organization representing the chief human
Resource officers of more than 375 of the largest employers in the United States. Collectively,
their companies employ more than 11 million people in the United States. Our members are
sensitive to their employees’ desires for both paid leave and flexible work arrangements, and are
at the forefront of providing those benefits. Yet, recent action at the state and local levels
seeking to micromanage how employers provide leave benefits is resulting in a burdensome
maze of requirements that prevent large, multi-state employers from providing uniform benefits
to their employees and is driving up the cost of providing such benefits.
